Air temperature is normally supplied as a measured value, sometimes being the average of a night- and a daytime temperature (see TempAirInput). In this case it is altitude corrected by the parameters AltMetStation, AltSim Position and TairLapseRate (see viewing function Air temperature affected by altitude). Air temperature can also be given an analytical form:
which, with correct choices of parameters Tamean, Taamp, Tph and ycycle, can properly represent both diurnal and annual variations. ycycle is the air temperature cycle determined by the switch TempAirCycle. See viewing function Air temperature day number function.
