Grain development
When grain starts to develop, carbon is allocated to the grain pool from the other three pools. The amount of carbon from the root pool to the grain pool are calculated as:
where aC,rg, is a parameter. Analogously, the allocation of carbon from the leaf and stem pools is calculated with the parameters aC,lg and aC,sg respectively.
